Company Introduction

Since established in 2011 as a Mongolian subsidiary of Guildford Coal with its 100% ownership, Terra Energy LLC has aimed to support local communities through preferring local employees and suppliers and keep focusing on developing sustainable cooperation with local communities.

In 2013, Terra Energy has made huge steps toward exporting the coal from our Southgobi project. We’re still working to complete construction of 97km coal haul road, custom bonded yard, explosive magazine and workshop etc. on site before new year.

Terra Energy LLC explores and mines coal in the South Gobi, Middle Gobi, Uvs provinces in Mongolia. The company was founded in 2011 and is based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. As of July 20, 2011, Terra Energy LLC operates as a subsidiary of TerraCom Limited.

When working at full capacity, TE will employ more than 380 employees in Southgobi coal mine.
