Today, AustCham Mongolia’s Chairperson Julien Lawrence, Principal of O2 Mining_Limited, moderated a session in the 14th International Mine Closure Conference, organized by Mongolians in virtual format for the first time.

The topics presented today were very interesting considering the final landform risks and liabilities and how to monitor and manage those post mine closures further.

The annual ICMC is the platform event for the global mining industry. It provides opportunities to network and explores the latest mine closure methodologies and technique breakthroughs. This meeting provides a forum for attendees from a variety of disciplines to exchange ideas about their work and to learn about new developments in the field of mine closure.
