Thus, we continue to prove that MIAT holds itself to the highest of standards when it comes to safety and that it is an internationally recognized flag carrier. Furthermore, we are striving to improve our Sky Trax rating from 3 stars to 4 stars by 2020.
Aviation is undoubtedly one of the most integral catalysts of growth in international trade, investment and tourism. Hence it is our foremost priority to expand our flight network and introduce new and productive destinations.
Mongolia is a pivotal transit point that connects Europe and Asia in addition to being one of the 32 landlocked nations in the world. With our geographical considerations and our technical expertise, we are poised to contribute to the development of not just the Mongolian economy, but to the Asia-Pacific economy at large as well. Our strategic goal is to become a well-established and competitive airline that serves the Europe-Asia and Asia markets.
The airline is renewing its fleet with modern and efficient aircrafts and we are looking forward to introducing the Boeing 737-8 MAX to our passengers in 2019. We are proud to say that our fleet has enough capacity and technical capability to support the expansion of our flight network and destinations.
