AustCham Mongolia’s “Annual General Meeting” (AGM) 2023 – 2024 will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, at the Blue Sky Hotel & Tower.

During the AGM, the Executive Committee of AustCham Mongolia will provide comprehensive updates on various important matters, including:

– Reviewing the Annual Report for the year 2023.
– Reviewing and approving the Balance Sheet and Statement of Revenues and Expenses.
– Presentation and delivery of membership certificates.
– Election of the Board of Directors for the year 2024 (24 months tenure).
– Discussion of any other relevant business items, if applicable.
We invite all members of AustCham Mongolia to attend this important event. Your presence and participation are highly valued as we collectively shape the future of our chamber.

Please note that while all members are welcome to attend the AGM, voting will be conducted in accordance with each membership type and by proxy.

Following the AGM, there will be a small networking session where members can connect and interact with newly elected Board Members and fellow members in a relaxed atmosphere.

 VOTING RULE 

At the AGM, each member company shall have the opportunity to cast their vote through a designated representative. The number of voting rights allocated to each member is determined by their membership tier, as follows:

– Corporate Plus Level: 6 voting rights
– Corporate Level: 4 voting rights
– Company Level: 3 voting rights
– SME Level: 2 voting rights
– Individual Members: 1 voting right

We kindly request that members ensure their designated representatives are informed of their voting rights in accordance with their membership tier. It is essential to nominate a representative who is authorized to cast votes on behalf of the company and is familiar with the agenda items and proposed resolutions.

During the AGM, voting will be conducted in an orderly manner, with each representative casting their votes accordingly. Proxy voting form without a proper sign and stamp or absentee ballots will not be permitted to maintain the integrity of the voting process and uphold the principles of democratic decision-making.
