We are pleased to announce that our Professional Speakers Series – Communities & Social Performance in Mining was successfully organized on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Topaz Hall, Blue Sky Hotel & Tower.

We thank our main guest speaker, Dr. Byambajav D, Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining, The University of Queensland, for his informative presentation on sustainable mining practices. His presentation covered:

• The role of CSP in sustainable mining

• Key challenges and opportunities for Mongolia’s mining industry

• Strengthening CSP capabilities through industry collaboration

• Insights from international case studies and research

We also appreciate the valuable contributions during the Q&A session by Associate Professor Vigya Sharma (Senior Research Fellow, CSRM) the University of Queensland, Australia and Dr. Warwick Browne (Manager, Training and Research, CSRM) the University of Queensland, Australia.
