Oyuntsetseg Jargalsaikhan (Yuki)
General Manager
Oyuntsetseg Jargalsaikhan is a media, communication expert and public policy manager. She graduated from “Otgontenger” University as a journalist. She did her master's at the University of Melbourne, as a Master of Public Policy and Management through the Australia Award Scholarship program. Oyuntsetseg began her career as a journalist in 2001. Over a decade, she held various positions at the National Authority for Children, a government agency in Mongolia. During this time, she worked as a public relations officer, the head of the Communication and Information Department, and the head of the Administration and Cooperation Department. She has collaborated closely with various donors, international and non-governmental organizations, and media outlets to design and implement communication and advocacy strategies related to child rights, protection, and public policy development. For the past eight years, Oyuntsetseg has focused on media, journalism, and social media and communication practices. She served as the head of the training department and the partnership manager at the Press Institute of Mongolia, a leading media development organization in the country. Since 2023, she has been working as a Senior Media Engagement Advisor for the International Research and Exchange Board (IREX). In this role, she has played a key part in implementing journalism and media initiatives within the Media and Civil Society Strengthening Program in Mongolia, co-implemented with the Asia Foundation of Mongolia and funded by USAID. Throughout her career, Oyuntsetseg has been involved in numerous media and communication campaigns and strategies, conducting training, designing and implementing different programs, projects that focus primarily on child rights, protection, participation, human rights, gender equity, gender-based violence, media and information literacy and mis-/dis-information etc.
Zolzaya Jargalsaikhan (Zola)

Zolzaya Jargalsaikhan possesses extensive professional experience in commercial banking, government institutions, and international fund projects. At Xac Bank, she gained insights into customer service, sales, marketing, and business operations, contributing to projects like the Mongolian banking Contact Center Project and Internet banking solutions. She also worked with the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry of Mongolia, gaining expertise in agriculture sector development, policy implementation, and coordination. Zolzaya earned a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Queensland under the Australia Awards Scholarship program and completed the Project for Market and Pasture Management Development from 2019 to 2023, in collaboration with MOFALI and the UN International Fund for Agricultural Development.
Amartuvshin Amarsaikhan
Business Administration Officer
Amartuvshin Amarsaikhan has extensive experience in public advocacy and has served as a coordinator and manager in numerous media development projects since 2018. From 2021 to 2024, she successfully led the UNDP project “Promoting Gender Equality and Women’s Participation in Decision-Making” while working as a project manager at the Media Council of Mongolia. During this time, she initiated the News for Equality coalition, beginning with a core group of 15 journalists dedicated to reporting on gender equality. Over the past three years, she has organized 155 events, engaging more than 2,000 participants. Under her leadership, the coalition has grown to include over 500 members, including journalists, editors, women experts, and human rights activists. Amartuvshin has also made a significant contribution to advancing gender equality in Mongolia, particularly through her advocacy for increased gender quotas for election candidates and more inclusive legislation. Following the 2024 election, women’s representation in Parliament rose to 25%. She is an alumna of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) supported by the U.S. Department of State, and the Women’s Leadership Program organized by Women for Change NGO with support from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. She holds bachelor degrees from the School of Journalism “Setguuch” under the Press Institute of Mongolia and from the University of Humanities. Amartuvshin is also the co-founder of Room24.mn, Mongolia's first feminist, community-driven media platform. From 2018 to 2020, she worked with the Center for Investigative Journalism Mongolia on the Fact-Check Mongolia Project, implemented in collaboration with DW Akademie. Between 2012 and 2018, she served at the Press Institute of Mongolia as a journalism instructor and coordinator of the Green World club for environmental journalists. Her career began as an environmental reporter at Green Channel TV Studio in 2010.
Vanessa Rouse

Vanessa brings more than 20 years’ experience as a senior marketing, communications, and project leader, having worked across major events, government, health, and education sectors. She has held executive leadership roles on large-scale international events including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and has delivered high-profile, public-facing projects for organisations such as DreamWorks Animation, Australia Post, and the Australian Department of Health and Ageing. Vanessa has led complex stakeholder projects across Australia and internationally, spanning both corporate and not-for-profit contexts. She is a qualified project manager and holds a Master of Asia and Pacific Studies from the Australian National University, majoring in Korean Studies. She also holds Honours degrees in Australian Politics and Fine Arts. Originally from Melbourne, Vanessa has lived and worked in Seoul, Edinburgh, and Dubai.
