📢Job Advertisement: Membership Manager at the Australian Chamber of Commerce Mongolia (“AustCham”).

AustCham seeks a dynamic and driven Membership Manager with primary responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with our valued members, driving membership growth, and promoting the benefits of Chamber affiliation to businesses within our community. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization while supporting the local business community.

📌Responsibilities:

o Develop and implement strategies to recruit new member businesses of all sizes and from all industries to enhance AustCham’s membership base.

o Serve as the main point of contact for existing members, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard. Build strong relationships by providing exceptional customer service, understanding their businesses, and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.

o Develop and execute strategies to improve member retention rates and ensure timely membership renewals. Monitor member satisfaction levels and implement programs or initiatives to enhance the overall membership experience.

o Collaborate with the Events team to organize engaging programs, seminars, workshops, and networking events. Coordinate logistics, secure speakers, and promote events to maximize event participation.

o Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan to keep members informed about activities, events, and relevant business news. Utilize various channels such as email newsletters, social media platforms, and website to effectively communicate with members and increase their engagement.

o Promote the diverse range of benefits and resources available to members, including marketing opportunities, advocacy support, educational programs, and access to a strong business network. Regularly review and enhance member benefits based on industry trends and member feedback.

✅Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• Proven experience in membership management, business development, or sales

• Professional fluency in English, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and time management skills

• Knowledge of local business community dynamics and economic trends

• Passion for supporting local businesses and contributing to community growth
