Founded in 2014, Intermed Hospital is the only hospital with international accreditation in Mongolia and one of the leading healthcare providers. In addition to the incorporation of advanced modern technological solutions in all stages of the hospital design from the blueprint to construction, the Intermed Hospital’s project team introduced more than 20 new health technology advancements from leading global providers to Mongolia.

Today, Intermed Hospital is led by a qualified local management team along with internationally trained and experienced specialists who are all devoted to improving clinical management, delivering quality services, and safe diagnostics through continuous improvement.

The hospital team is comprised of over 600 experienced staff members, many of whom achieved their postgraduate education degrees in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Korea.  Additionally, the Nursing Department is staffed by highly skilled and qualified nursing professionals who were educated at international and national universities.

Intermed Hospital has 90 beds serving an average of 7,000 inpatients annually in addition to providing over 300,000 outpatient consultations and preventive care services.  To expand our services and increase access to quality healthcare for residents of Ulaanbaatar, we are operating branch clinics in Songino-Khairkhan district since 2020 and in Sukhbaatar district since 2021. Also, Tsogttsetsii soum branch in Umnugovi Aimag opened its doors in June 2022, allowing us to further expand our reach to people working and living in rural areas.

Additionally, the Intermed emergency department operates and provides emergency services 24/7.
